Emmy Faison is an artist and teacher near Birmingham, Alabama. She received her B.A. in art from Sewanee: the University of the South in 2014. She earned her master’s degree in arts education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2020. Since then, she has been working as an art teacher at Mortimer Jordan High School in Kimberly, AL. Her recent work includes drawings and oil paintings exploring environmentalism.
